Key Industries | Healthcare

The healthcare sector is one of the primary economic drivers in the region, and its presence can be seen through a number of the other priority industries in the region. The recent merger of Yale- New Haven Hospital and the Hospital of St. Raphael’s has made the new Yale-New Haven Hospital one of the biggest in the nation, hosting over 1,500 beds and employing over 12,000 people in the region.
